We live here and we're nice people along with the other 375,000 or so residents on the peninsula.
Another is there are four wonderful seasons, the weather here in spring is nice and the colorful summer is great. The flowers are abundant foliage; grass, orchards and vineyards are lush and green.
Autumn is pleasantly warm and fantastically colorful to welcome the winter.
Winter weather is moderate with the pleasant opportunity to enjoy a variety of winter activities.
Overall the scenery is varied and pleasing to the eye.
And you won't be at a loss for things to do year round. There are a wide variety of things to see and do *Around N' About Niagara* (The Peninsula) for both the residents and travelers alike.

City of Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls Ontario Canada is a holiday vacation travel destination celebrity. It's the most visited city Around N' About Niagara, not for the city itself but for one of the most popular attractions in the world *Niagara Falls* the Niagara river water falls the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls and American Falls which happens to be where the city of Niagara Falls was located. We all should experience this exhilarating sight, first hand, at least once in a lifetime.
City of Port Colborne
Home of the longest lock and the Welland Canal's entrance and shipping gateway for ships from around world and the Great Lakes, a ship watchers dream location.
A great boating holiday stop with extensive marina facilities for weekend sailors and others.
City of St Catharines
The Garden City with a history of agricultural settlement dating back to 1700 and still is one of the most productive fruit lands not only Around N' About Niagara, Ontario and Canada but in the world to this day.
The city is also home to the Welland Canal locks that allow the ships of Great Lake and the Oceans of the world to climb up and down the cliff of the Niagara Escarpment. This provides the shipping industry access to the heart of Canada and the United States of America by way of the St. Lawrence Seaway system.
City of Welland
Known as the "Rose City" and home to the largest outdoor gallery in the world with 28 striking giant masterpieces making for an interesting photo tour of this and other exciting attractions in the stunning rose city.
Town of Fort Erie
Is a historic border town established in 1764 as a British outpost to keep the peace along the Niagara River. Nowadays this bustling town is one of the busiest border crossing points via the Peace Bridge to and from the United States of America.
Along with historic Old Fort Erie site there are many photo opportunities around n' about its communities, attractions like horse races and other fun stuff to see and do.
Town of Grimsby
Situated at the entrance to our Around N' About Niagara magazine communities news beat this attractive town offers an attractive route of century old stately homes to the centre of town. The surrounding picturesque countryside is doted with vineyards and orchards to and on the Escarpment. Take a relaxing tour of the area and its Lake Ontario beaches.
Town of Lincoln
An area between the city of St Catharine and the town of Grimsby nestled along the shores of Lake Ontario and the cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment west from Around N' About Niagara magazine *Attractions Central* and at the western end Niagara wine route providing great scenic picture opportunities while hiking, biking or driving the trails and roads between the communities of Jordon, Vineland and the Town of Beamsville with lots of stuff to see and do along the way.
Town of Niagara-on-the-lake

City of Thorold
Known as Canada's *Canal City* take a hiking, biking or driving tour of this friendly city and the flight locks that enable the *Salties* and *Lakers* to climb up and down the (over 30 meter 300 foot) cliff of the Niagara Escarpment
Get your own pictures of these ships navigating the locks. Take photos of these giants making their way up to central Canada and the United States of America and down heading to ports around the world by way of the St. Lawrence Seaway
Wainfleet
Is the largest township in the region and is mainly agricultural. Its location on the peninsula at the shores of Lake Erie offers a wide variety of outdoor activities to residents and visitors on the beaches also inland in variety parks campgrounds and conservation areas where you can apply your photography skills to your hearts content.
West Lincoln
Is located centrally at the peninsulas western border geographically it is the largest of the regions municipalities with the smallest population. Take a meandering hike, bike and driving tour down the scenic back roads through the sprawling vegetable and grain crop farmlands. Let's go take some pictures.
Niagara Escarpment
Grab your photography and hiking gear for some exceptional sightseeing, birding and nature exploring Around N' About Niagara the length of the Peninsula on the escarpment. Take a day a week or a month and discover something new each day on this wonderfully diverse escarpment.
Welland Canal

Historic Sites
I guess the must see sites here would have to be Old Fort Erie, and Fort George. Plus Queenston Heights Park with Major General Sir Isaac Brock and Laura Secord monuments on the escarpment over looking the historic battle ground, the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. All fantastic sites, once in a lifetime photo opportunities, that can provide memorable images to dress up any holiday album.
