From our *Attractions Central* The Falls via the Niagara River Parkway travel south to Fort Erie then west on Highway #3 through Port Colborne at the township of Wainfleet town line, continue on highway #3 capturing pictures of the scenery through Ostryhon Corners to the community of Wainfleet...

The Township of Wainfleet

Population:       6,069
Mayor:            Gord Harry

Bounded in the south by Lake Erie, and the north by the Welland River; Wainfleet is a natural haven for fishers, windsurfers, beachcombers, and campers.

Check out the outdoor Activities listings as recreational opportunities abound in the township.

Enjoy the fully serviced campsites at Chippawa Creek Conservation Area, hike and take pictures along the nature trails in summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.

In September, join the Marshville Heritage Festival as it celebrates rural life in the 1800's enjoy and photograph demonstrations in threshing, smithing and butter making. Arts and crafts are the stars of the show attracting participants from all over.

Travel Around N' About Niagara in Wainfleet, experience what the township has to offer relax and photograph the many natural treasures.

Check out the shopping Wainfleet has many home studios where artists and artisans offer a diverse choice of crafted goods.

There are three main business areas in the township of Wainfleet located at Chambers Corners, the Wainfleet Village, as well as the Long Beach area.

Chambers Corners, also known as the "hub" of Wainfleet Township, is located at the intersection of Highway #3, Regional Road #24 and Forks Road.

The businesses in this area include a gas station; tire repair, farm equipment, home hardware retail, motel, and a choice of restaurants.

The Wainfleet village is located in the heart of Wainfleet, situated on Highway #3 at Feeder Road North, on the banks of the Welland Feeder Canal.

It has craft stores, a chocolate factory, antique stores, feed store, convenience store, post office, and the Niagara Credit Union for your banking needs.

Video and game rentals, dry cleaning, courier services and pizza can also be found at Video Time.

Other shops can also be found to meet the needs of the residents of Wainfleet and its visitors.

Long Beach From our *Attractions Central* The Falls via the Niagara River Parkway travel south to Fort Erie then west on Highway #3 through Port Colborne to Wainfleet town line continue on Highway #3 through Ostryhon Corners to Regional Road 3 at Beach Road follow Regional Road 3 into Long Beach...

It's located along the Lake Erie shoreline; with lots of fun stuff to photograph see and do and enjoy.

It includes man made attractions like mini-putt, and restaurants for your dining pleasure.

Check out the conservation area for family outdoor activities and fun pictures.

There's a convenience/grocery store and from May - October a weekly Farmers' Market.
